“Dressage is not complicated, just complex”
Irene takes a systematic approach with regard to the process and The Principals of Riding and guides her students to independent application of their seat and knowledge and to learning from their daily experience, so making the practice compassionate and sustainable.
Irene works in a variety of ways to instill the knowledge and skills necessary to progress, possessing a clear understanding of each individuals process. From ground work to group discussions in theory-lessons, from lunging to practice in the saddle, the goal of each lesson is to guide the student into independent riding characterized by harmony and understanding between horse and rider.
- Lessons - $65 for 45 minutes.
- Training - Full time training, not including board, is $650 per month. Monthly training fees are tailored to suit the goals and needs of each horse and rider/owner.
- Travel - Irene also travels to teach lessons at various other locations. She is currently traveling as far as Dripping Springs, Blanco, Ledbetter and San Antonio
With a passion for classical training, Irene Moser Hill guides each and every student, from beginner to advanced, in a fundamental understanding of horses and riding. In addition to equitation, classical dressage movements, and a thorough knowledge of the Training Scale, Irene's students learn the physiology of their horse, his gaits, his body language, equine psychology and how every movement of a rider influences her horse, both from the ground and in the saddle.
